Connections Coming Soon (has NOT been implemented) A new way to connect with other AB's and DL's Many AB's & DL's want to "connect" with other AB's and DL's. DPF makes this possible with Roster Listings, Party Reports and Babysitter Reports. The DPF Roster contains, at any given time, approximately 2,000 to 2,500 listings, and contact can be make one email or one letter at a time, but the Roster only contains only about 15% of the 16,000 AB's and DL's in DPF's database. DPF's proposed new "Connections" will open up the door to all 16,000 AB's and DL's in DPF' files, and will allow multiple emails. Here's What You Will Do 1 - Create any email you want to send to other AB's and DL's. 2 - Send this email to Tommy (babytom@well.com) with the Subject: Connections. 3 - At the top of your email tell Tommy to: "Mail To State (or States)" or "Mail To City (or Cities)". You can also select Roster Codes. 4 - At the top of your email include your Credit Card number and expiration date. Here's What We Will Do 1 - We will determine which AB's and DL's will receive your email by: Searching the DPF database (16,000 people). Download these email addresses to your "connection" email (as bcc - blind carbon copies) Remove the "Mail To" and Credit Card information from the top of your email. Send your email to (possibly) hundreds of people. 3 - We will add a paragraph a thte top that explains how "Connections" works and will give any recipient of "Connections" the opportunity to have their email removed from this service. 4 - We will update our Email file frequently. 5 - We will charge your Credit Card according to the following schedule: a - If you are sending a Party Plan, there will be no charge. b - If you are a member of BabyClub, the cost will be 5¢ per email forwarded. c - If you are Listed in the Roster, the cost will be 10¢ per email forwarded. d - Sorry, you must be either member of BabyClub or listed in the Roster. Here are some examples (as of September 1, 2000): 1 - If you selected Illinois your email would go to 217 people. 2 - If you selected New York your email would go to 345 people. 3 - If you selected Alabama your email would go to 27 people Watch for future implementation
