DPF helps to sponsor parties
for adult babies and diaper lovers all over the United States,
Canada and the World. In many ways
AB/DL Parties are a lot like a parties given by anybody, except
for the underlying interest in diapers, of course. Some of you
reading this page for the first time may be feeling a little
shudder of fear coursing through your body. If so, you're not
alone. Your feeling has been shared by many adult babies and
diaper lovers before you.

What Are You Feeling?
From letters and email we have received and from personal
knowledge, it's not hard to put together an outline of what happens
to many adult babies or diaper lovers when confronted with the
idea of going to their first AB Party. Of course, everyone is
different, so reactions do vary.
Reading these Web pages or reading the DPF Newsletters has somewhat
broadened your view so that you are beginning to feel more comfortable
about being who you are. Nevertheless, this page may be triggering
feelings of fear and doubt. "What could a party of diaper
wearing people be like?". you may ask "Will they be
weird or crazy? What will they do? Will I feel comfortable? Should
I wear a diaper if I go? Will there be overt sex? Will the people
be friendly or likeable?" These are all valid questions.

What Typically Does Happen?
When you arrive at a party, it feels almost like your first
day in Kindergarten. Shyly you enter and look around. Nothing
much happening, just everyday folk making small talk here and
there and getting to know one another. Some people obviously
know each other - probably from a previous party. The host introduces
you around and you begin to feel a little more comfortable.
Soon one person and then a few more take off their pants or outer
clothes and begin to show off their cute diapers, plastic pants
or baby outfits. Everyone smiles, but it doesn't seem like a
big deal after all. You sneak back to you car and put on your
diaper. When you return you immediately take off you pants. Oh,
what a great feeling. You're wearing your diaper around others
and it feels so comfortable. It's like a dream come true - a
moment you've been waiting for all your life. Soon there are
games to play, or maybe some folks put on a little funny skit.
Some guys are dressed as baby girls. Some "babies"
are sucking on their baa baa's. People show photographs or watch
AB Videos. Everyone is having so much fun.
Soon you're wet and in need of a change, so you take your spare
diaper and head for the room that is designated for diaper changing.
The door is closed, and when you knock a voice answers, "We'll
be finished in a minute". Gee, someone is in there getting
their diaper changed! You're not ready for that, but no one cares.
Maybe next time. There's no pressure. Everyone is free to do
whatever feels good and comfortable.
By the end of the evening you're completely relaxed. When the
date for the next party is announced you know you're going to
attend. You've made some wonderful new friends, and you've passed
another milestone in your growth as an adult baby or diaper lover.

Party Announcements
in the Newsletter
AB/DL Parties are announced in the DPF Newsletter. They are run
by AB/DL's who can send out personal invitations to AB's and
DL's in their area. DPF will forward mail FREE for anyone planning
a party provided they are listed (also free) in the DPF Roster.
People who give parties also sometimes charge a small fee (average
$15) to pay for food and drink. Most of them welcome DPFers and
non-DPFers alike, because sharing and making friends is the most
important thing.
