In Europe you can see 6-year-olds drinking from a baby bottle, or 7-year-olds sucking on their pacifier. Diapers are sold for big school-age kids, like the Peaudouce diaper (below) that emulates closely the diapers made for little babies.
If you look at these Peaudouce Diapers available in Europe, you will see that the package looks almost like a package of baby diapers, except the diapers are big enough for grade school kids or maybe even Junior High School kids, and the picture of the "baby" on the package is a Big Kid. He sure looks happy. Well, why shouldn't he be happy? His mommy or daddy probably still diapers him for school during the day and for bedtime at night.
How do they get away with this in Europe? Maybe there is less of a "push" to grow up than in the United States. Sounds like a good idea to me. What do you think?
