BEAR Says:The GOAL and the FORMAT of the DPF On-Line Roster differs slightly from other AB Listings both here on the WEB, Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy and other BBS's. The difference is in the FORMAT and PURPOSE. The FORMAT of the DPF Roster makes it possible to know as much about the listed person's age, sex, physical characteristics and interests as possible. This is achieved by having certain required fields, and by using detailed "codes" for every area of interest.
The Goal of the DPF Roster is REAL contact with REAL people. Contact via Email or chat groups can be fun, but it can also be misleading and extremely limited. We believe that ultimate happiness can come only from REAL contact - and by meeting, touching and sharing not only your AB needs but your entire life with another person. This is the ultimate goal of the DPF Roster, but it is done in a way that preserves total confidentiallity. DPF also promotes meeting at DPF sponsored parties (see another page on this site).
You can "search" the DPF On-Line Roster by keywords and codes to help this process.
The DPF On-Line Roster is updated weekly (with new listings, corrections, updates and deletions)
The printed Roster in the DPF Newsletter has always been (and will continue to be) published 6 times per year, but a complete printed Roster is split into six issues of the Newsletter. On the other hand, the complete DPF Rosters is also available in BabyClub and can be searched online
