School Age Babies

Are grade-school age kids still babies?. Here is some evidence that, in many ways, they still are. Take for example the three illustrations on this page. These "baby bottles" are filled with candy for school age kids.

Marky and I were in Portugal last Fall. One morning we were watching television while getting dressed for breakfast. We were watching a program aimed at kids (a favorite pastime of ours). Suddenly we saw this ad for "Big Baby Pops", a baby bottle filled with candy. "Ooooh, neat", I thought. The kids in the ad were bovioiusly grade-school age.. For some reason I wanted to buy some, too, (I bet you wonder why). That afternoon we were in a small supermarket, and sure enough, there were some Big Baby Pops on the checkout counter. Naturally I bought a few.
What you do is take off the cover, suck on the nipple to make it wet and then remove the nipple and stick it inside the bottle so it picks up some of the candy goop. Then you put the nipple back on the bottle and then put the nipple into your mouth and suck on it. Like a baby? I can just picture a class of sixth graders sitting in class and sucking on the nipples of their Big Baby Pops (when the teacher isn't looking, of course).
